Kurt Roelandt

Kurt Roelandt is a seasoned management consultant with over 20 years of experience in ESG advisory, strategic planning, and sustainable finance. As Director at EAS, he oversees ESG, M&A, and strategy practices, helping clients across sectors like construction, mining, telecommunications, and financial services. He has led the development of Ethica, a digital ESG reporting tool, and has provided ESG training and advisory to numerous high-profile clients, including Old Mutual Africa Regions and Merchants.

Kurt’s expertise extends to carbon offset frameworks, ESG maturity assessments, and Net Zero strategies, with a strong focus on practical implementation and digital solutions.

Before EAS, he served as a Management Consultant at McKinsey and Head of Strategy and M&A at Aveng Group, where he managed strategic projects and transformational initiatives.

He holds an MBA from Solvay Business School and an MSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Ghent, alongside a CFA charter and ongoing studies in Climate Risk.
